There is nothing worse than gearing up for a decisive game of the season only to realize that most of the FC 25 Coins players' stamina bars are dangerously close to the orange/red zone. Footballers who get exhausted too quickly into a match are quickly rendered useless and in need of substitution.
Trying to win the Premier League in two seasons is a challenge that will surely exhaust many players. This is why it's important to rotate the roster frequently and save your best players' energy for the most important games in the season.
The world of esports is competative, endurance testing, and attainable only to the best players, from the AGDQ players raising money for charity while speed running classic games, to the well trained esports teams competing against other top gamers. Indeed, having a certain level of skill seems like an obvious qualifier for getting in on an esports competition, but that's not always the case, especially when celebrities and charities get involved, like Jason Sudeikis' Ted Lasso and Trevor Noah joining FC 25 tournament " FC Face-Off."
The tournament is being hosted by Twitch streamer Castro 1021. a player who regularly streams FC 25 content, and will include celebrities like Brendan Hunt, Becky G, and Nicky Jam in addition to Sudeikis and Noah. While it appears other guests are playing in the tournament as themselves, Jason Sudeikis is competing as his character Ted Lasso from the AppleTV + show of the same name.
The comedian revealed the choice by releasing a statement saying, "Having previously no experience coaching soccer, or football if you will, I think Ted Lasso is the perfect candidate for dominating in an EA Sports FC esports competition." For his part, Trevor Noah is a well-known celebrity video game enthusiast, though it's uncertain whether the Daily Show host has any prior experience with FC 25.
Celebrities in the tournament are being paired up with pro players and the teams are competing for a $25.000 prize pool. Like many esports competitions, FC Face-Off will stream live on Twitch as opposed to competitors like YouTube. The first part of the competition can be watched on EA's FC Twitch channel, EASPORTS buy FC 25 Coins, where the second portion of the competition is set to stream on March 26 at 12:30 PM ET.
